Father Cecil Wagstaff serves as an Honorary Assistant and Priest-in-Residence at Christ the King.  He was ordained into the Sacred Order of Deacons in 1962 and into the Sacred Order of Priests in 1963.  He has a distinguished career as a pastor and most notably served as the Cathedral Dean of the Episcopal Diocese of Northern Michigan.

In addition to his distinguished ministry career, Father Wagstaff is a veteran of the United States Army and a  Chaplain with the United States Air Force Auxiliary where he holds the rank of Major.  Father Wagstaff was recently honored as the Civil Air Patrol Michigan Wing Chaplain of the Year and the Great Lakes Region Chaplain of the Year.

Father Wagstaff was received as a Priest into the Anglican Mission in the Americas by Bishop Sandy Greene on August 27, 2009.
