Joining Christ the King Anglican Church

It is our privilege to serve people who want to express their commitment to Christ by joining with us in membership at Christ the King Anglican Church!

Here are the requirements for membership:

• publicly profess Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord through Baptism

• regularly participate in the life of our church

• be a regular financial contributor to the church (through a tithe or actively working toward a tithe)

• be 16 years of age or older

• sign our Membership Covenant

Baptism, Confirmation, and Reception

We receive new members into our church in a special service of Reception.

Baptism is for those who have made a first-time commitment to Christ and have never been baptized before.  Baptism usually occurs at least four times a year at Easter, Pentecost, All Saints Day, and the Baptism of the Lord.  For more information regarding baptism, consult this Baptism link or contact the Pastor. 

Once a year our Bishop will visit and administer the Sacrament of Confirmation for those who have been baptized.  Confirmation is the act of making a mature commitment to Christ and receiving prayer for the Holy Spirit's empowering through the prayer of the Bishop.
